A Graceful Heroine

The excellent dramatization of 'Little Dorrit' recently ended on BBC (congratulations to Andrew Davies for another brilliant adaptation!) and its heroine so vividly reminded me of the qualities of character that constitute Elegance: Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, love... These are traits I try hard to cultivate and emulate, because I believe they show, and indeed are part of, the gift of Grace. And of course it helps too, to be dressed beautifully!
